The Place
Hidden away among the upper Tweed Valley, Ettrick Forest and Yarrow Braes, Edenwater House is ideally located for those seeking to explore the Scottish Borders, with the nearby Tweed home to some of the best salmon fishing in the British Isles.
Jacqui used to run her own restaurant in Edinburgh and now her food is the bonus of the intimate dining room. There is no wine list – instead you get Jeff’s encyclopeadic knowledge of the subject. And there’s a ‘wine shed’ in the garden where you can chat with other guests – over a glass of something interesting.
The Kellys’ attention to detail does not stop in the dining room. You’ll see it throughout the house, from the traditional feel of the drawing room, to the bedrooms with pretty floral themes.
