Why we love it...

Sophisticated brasserie with comfortable rooms

The Place

The newest addition to the Beckford Group offers the best of both worlds: a sophisticated restaurant and wine shop, with eleven cosy bedrooms upstairs. The townhouse has retained its historic charm without compromising on modern comfort. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with views out onto Corsham’s cobbled High Street, and the brasserie’s burgundy banquettes and brass detailing has a classic feel.

The brasserie is without a doubt the star of the show at Corsham House, with the menus making the most of the local and seasonal produce from the South West. Wine lovers will be spoilt for choice in the adjacent Bottle Shop, where you can choose from over 250 carefully selected wines – or take a recommendation from one of the team.

We’re yet to visit Corsham House, so stay tuned for our reporter’s full review.

Check out the other Beckford Group properties here: The Beckford Arms, The Lord Poulett Arms, The Bath Arms at Longleat, The Talbot Inn, The Bradley Hare, Teffont House and, of course, their two restaurants in Bath – Beckford Bottle Shop and Beckford Canteen.
