The Place
As the name suggests, flowers are a running theme in this delightful little hotel, to be seen everywhere from the bedroom decoration to the beautiful bougainvillea-clad terraces. With supremely friendly staff and unbeatable views over the town and the Mediterranean, the Villa Rosa makes an excellent choice for a very reasonably priced stay in Positano.
The bedrooms are arranged on three tiers looking out to sea. While all enjoy spacious terraces, four have particularly huge ones, which feel like a second room. There is also one family room, with two extra beds and a large outside table, and an apartment with two double rooms. Bedrooms are tastefully and attractively decorated, some with original tiled floors and large French windows, and all are supremely comfortable.
A delicious continental breakfast is served in your room or can be taken on the terrace with the stunning backdrop of Positano and the vast, glittering sea. The Caldieros also run nearby restaurant Caffe Positano, with a breathtaking view, a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
