The Place
Albergo Accademia sits perfectly in the centre of the upmarket town of Trento. The renovated ancient building fits in well with the picturesque medieval town centre, which cannot be accessed by car – we recommend hiring a bike. Along with the museums and historic buildings the hotel is also close to lakes and mountains, great for anyone looking for the best of both worlds.
The hotel itself has views of the vast mountains and the courtyard is a lovely place to eat and enjoy the surroundings. The interior is bright, with white walls and the odd plant pot or vase giving this hotel extra charm. There are 40 spacious clean rooms, all recently decorated – modern but comfortable. Traditonal paintings decorate the walls, new wooden furniture adds an extra touch and comfy chairs mean you can choose to relax in your room. The bathrooms offer a spa-like bath, which is great for winding down after a long day of exploring the town.
A breakfast buffet can be eaten outside in the courtyard in the summer and there is a simply decorated dining room with the added touch of little plants on each table. No lunch or dinner is served here but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.
