The Place
This historic farmhouse dates back to the 1400s. Built on Colle Giorgio, a hillside on the outskirts of Perugia, the location is very much that of open countryside. Yet, this tasteful property, converted into a family villa in the 1970s, is a mere stone’s throw from the historic centre of the city. Villa Nuba is in the countryside but, at the same time, Perugia city centre is only 15 minutes walk away and offers visitors a chance to experience the medieval centre of town and the Università per Stranieri.
The fully furnished elegant apartments are intended for couples, friends, or families wishing to spend a pleasant break in the Umbria region. The rooms have fascinating glowing constellations that start twinkling when it gets dark – so you can fall asleep under the stars. All apartments offer extra relaxation by way of a Jacuzzi, fireplace, private patio, and kitchen.
The owners live in the main villa and guarantee a warm, friendly, Italian welcome as well as plenty of tips and directions, but without intruding. They will also suggest the best local restaurants, pizzerias and trattorias – all of which offer a discounted rate to guests of Villa Nuba.
