The Place
You leave behind the bustle of the medina when you step through the ancient doors of this elegant riad. Formed from several mansions which are connected by a maze of corridors, the rooms are handsome and the courtyards tranquil. Not all of the rooms are air conditioned so it is worth double checking. Housed within the guesthouse is a fine collection of antiques, ceramics, early Berber textiles and paintings, making it a very special place to stay. Sweeping terraces and private alcoves, a small pool and hammam add to the air of stylish simplicity and calm. Staff are attentive and the chef can prepare a delicious tajine on your arrival.
