Perched above the Makweti Gorge, the main lodge is built from ‘natural rock’ and has teak decks giving terrific views of forest and river. Further accommodation is in secluded stone and thatched chalets. Some have Victorian bathtubs and private plunge pools. Safaris twice a day on foot or on wheels. Three hours by car from Johannesburg.
