The Place
Principal Son Amoixa stands in 16 hectares of romantic, undulating countryside dotted with lemon, fig and almond trees. Its history goes back to the 16th century; the main building’s present imposing appearance has evolved over hundreds of years. The suites, bedrooms and bathrooms are generously proportioned and tastefully decorated. Rough-plastered, whitewashed walls give the restaurant a rustic feel, emphasised by the beautiful stone arches. Some of the suites have private terraces with views across the island.
Spanish cooks are at hand, and the food competes with the best on the island. There’s a wide range of activities to fill your time, but relaxation is something that is taken very seriously here, with a wide range of different massage treatments on offer. Even just mellowing out for an evening in the cosy sitting room with a glass of wine is something special.
