The Place
The obvious way to this well-concealed country hotel is by the main Palma-Inca road. Alternatively, you can leave the main road about 8 km out of Palma and take the more varied country route via Santa Maria, Consell and Binissalem. On the way, a visit to the leather town of Inca makes a delightful detour for lovers of fine leather goods. From Inca, the country road leads directly to Costitx; nearby, San Porro is situated in a valley of almond trees and vegetable fields.
The rooms are furnished with pleasant, pale pine furniture. Suites have beautiful rustic fireplaces and dreamy views of the surrounding countryside or on to the hotel’s patio. The owner, Maria Pilar Sanchez, is a talented communicator and catalyst who knows just how to mingle her guests so that they quickly feel at home. You might find three or four of them gathered to help Maria Pilar cook dinner in her typical Mallorcan country kitchen. Wine is very much a part of this cuisine, and in her kitchen bottles are on the go even as food is being prepared. Full house rental available.
