The Place
This large, 19thC mansion in the centre of Sultanahmet aims to reflect the city’s Ottoman culture and soul, and is packed with handmade carpets, traditional divans and carved ornaments. Bedrooms, although a tad small, are well decorated: beds have carved headboards; baths are intricately tiled. The restaurant, overlooking Bosporus and Camlica Hill, often arranges traditional Turkish music nights.
